Indian Super League 2022-23 is gradually coming to its end with Mumbai City FC, Hyderabad FC, Bengaluru FC, and ATK Mohan Bagan qualifying for the Indian Super League semi-finals.
After closely-contested group stage matches, the 6 playoff teams were revealed. Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC directly qualified for the semis after securing the 1st and 2nd spot, respectively in the points table.
The format has been revamped this year, unlike previous years where the top four football teams directly made the semis. The teams finishing the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th spot battled it out in the eliminators to book a spot in the last 4.
Teams in ISL 2022-23 Semi-Finals
In the first eliminator, Bengaluru FC beat Kerala Blasters joining MCFC and HFC in the semi-finals. In the second eliminator, ATK Mohun Bagan beat Odisha FC (2-0) becoming the fourth and the last team to enter the semis.
