Organised by Absolute Legends Sports Pvt. Ltd., Legends League Cricket (LLC) is a T-20 Cricket League which features recently retired players, many of them former internationals.
The second season of the series which held its first season in January 2022 in Oman Academy Ground, Muscat Oman, is currently being currently being held in India.
The first season features 3 teams – India (Indian Maharajas), Rest of the World (Asia Lions) and Rest of the World (World Giants), whereas the on-going season features private franchise owner teams across six cites of the country.
This season is dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence or Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Former Indian cricketer and India Men’s National Cricket Team coach Ravi Shastri is the Commissioner of the league.
About the Second Season of LLC T20
After the success of Season 1, LLC announced the dates for a new format with its inaugural season to be held in India between September 17 and October 5, 2022. The inaugural match was played on September 16 between Indian Maharajas and World Giants led by one of India’s most successful Indian batters, Virendra Sehwag and legendary South African allrounder Jacques Kallis, respectively.
It was hosted by the iconic Indian Garden of Kolkata. It was won by Indian Maharajas. It was dedicated to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This season sees the league adopting a new franchise based format, which is different from the first season’ region specific format. Four new team, each being owned and operated by private ownership.
These teams are– Bhilwara Kings, India Capitals, Gujarat Giants and Manipal Tigers led by Irfan Pathan, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh, respectively.

LLC T20 Season 2 Final Date
On October 2, 2022, a Qualifier round was played between the First Ranked Team and the Second Ranked Team of the tournament followed by an Eliminator match in which the loser of the the Qualifier and the Third Ranked Team will face Each other. Both matches were played in Jodhpur’s Barkatullah Khan Stadium.
Talking about Final of the league, it will held on October 5 and will be played between Bhilwara Kings vs India Capital at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur Rajasthan.
