The Pro Kabaddi League season 10 (PKL 10) is all set to start on December 2, 2023. This year it is the league’s 10-year anniversary and the auction of Pro Kabaddi League 2023 is over.
The Pro Kabaddi League has revolutionized the game of Kabaddi in India. This tournament has given rise to some of the biggest Kabaddi players from India. Today, the hype of Pro Kabaddi League auctions and the most expensive players is no less than the IPL auction.
A total of 12 franchises participate in the auction and bid for the players they want on their teams. In the past few years, bids for some players went up to 2.26 crore, and it is expected that Season 10 will break all the past records.

Most Expensive PKL Players (All Seasons)
The Pro Kabaddi League started in 2014 and ever since, the auction prize for the players has increased during the season. Season 9 witnessed the highest bid of Rs. 2.26 crore for Pawan Kumar Sherawat of Tamil Thalivas. So, here is the season-wise list of the most expensive players.
Season 1
Patna Pirates bought all-rounder Rakesh Kumar for INR 12.80 lakh in the inaugural season of the Pro Kabaddi League. In the first season, Rakesh played only four matches and took just 17 points overall. But the Patna Pirates managed to reach the semi-finals of the first season.
Season 2
Defender Hadi Oshtorak became the most expensive player in Pro Kabaddi League Season 2. Telugu Titans bought him for INR 21.1 lakh and he served as one of the best players for Titans during that season.
Season 3
The costliest player of Pro Kabaddi League season 3 was never disclosed. Nobody knows the reason behind it but it was one of the most weird things that happened in Pro Kabaddi’s history.
Season 4
Defender Mohit Chillar became the costliest player in Season 4 of the Pro Kabaddi League. In season 4, the Bengaluru Bulls acquired Chillar for INR 53 lakh, which was times higher than his base prize.
Season 5
UP Yodha bought Nitin Tomar for INR 93 lakh for season 5. The performance of Nitin during that season was mind-blowing, as he managed to score a staggering 167 raid points in 20 games.
Season 6
Season 6 was the first time a player crossed the mark of a crore in the Pro Kabaddi League. Monu Goyat emerged as the most expensive player of the season. He was bought by the Haryana Steelers for INR 1.51 crore.
Season 7
Siddharth Desai became the most expensive player in Pro Kabaddi League season 7. U Mumba roped him for NR 1.45 crore, and that season he took 217 raid points.
Season 8
After 5 successful seasons with Patna Pirates, Pardeep Narwal was bought by U.P. Yoddha for an outstanding INR 1.65 crore. During the season he showed outstanding performance and took 188 raid points.
Season 9
The Pro Kabaddi Season 9 saw some big investments as franchises made some of their most expensive purchases. Tamil Thalaivas bought Pawan Kumar Sherawat for INR 2.26 crore and till now it is the highest in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.
Season 10
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat became the most expensive player of the season. He was bought by the Telugu Titans for INR 2.605 crore. Mohammadreza Shadloui Ciyaneh, on the other hand, became the most expensive foreign player in PKL history. Puneri Paltan bought Mohammadreza Shadloui for INR 2.35 crore.
