Mark Boucher (Head Coach): Mark Boucher, a former African cricketer and coach, has been named the Mumbai Indians’ head coach. With 532 catches and 555 total dismissals, Boucher holds the record for the most Test dismissals by a wicketkeeper.
He is recognised as one of the best wicketkeeper batters of all time. Boucher was named the national cricket team of South Africa’s head coach in December 2019.
He has played for the Border, Warriors, South Africa, Africa XI, ICC World XI, and the Indian Premier League teams Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Kieron Pollard (Batting Coach): The Mumbai Indians have hired Pollard, a former West Indies cricketer and captain, to serve as their batting coach. Right-handed medium bowler and batsman Pollard also bowls right-handedly.
Pollard made the announcement that he was quitting international cricket on April 20, 2022. After 13 seasons of playing for the Mumbai Indians, Pollard announced his retirement from the IPL on November 15, 2022. He has now been hired as the Mumbai Indians’ batting coach.
Shane Bond (Bowling Coach): Shane Bond, a former cricketer and coach for New Zealand, has been named the Mumbai Indians’ bowling coach. He played international Twenty20, ODI, and Test cricket for New Zealand. Bond plays right-handed and bowls right-arm quick.
James Pamment (Fielding Coach): A former cricketer who represented Auckland in 14 Shell Trophy first-class games between 1993 and 1996. He was hired as the Mumbai Indians’ fielding coach. He was hired as the fielding coach of the American national cricket team on a temporary basis in July 2019.
