The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) ended on Saturday, March 18, in a thrilling summit clash between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans with the former emerging as the winner. LQ defeated
Multan Sultans by 1 run in the PSL 2023 final.
Choosing to bat first, Shaheen Afridi-led side posted a huge total of 200/6 wickets with Shafique scoring 65 off 40 balls and Shaheen playing a quick knock of 44 not out off just 15 balls.
Later, with just 4 runs needed off the last ball, Khusdil Shah was run out while going for the third run to level Qalandar’s total as Multan finished at 199-8. LQ beat Multan Sultans by just one run on the last ball of the thrilling PSL 2023 final.
