India’s star bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur got married to love to his life Mittali Parulkar. This wedding season, cricket fans witnessed wedding of various cricketers be it KL Rahul or Hardik Pandya and now Shardul Thakur has also joined the clan.
Shardul was acquired by the Delhi Capitals in the 2022 Indian Premier League auction in February of that year. He participated in 14 games during the season before being moved to the Kolkata Knight Riders in November 2022 in exchange for Aman Khan in advance of the IPL auctions for the 2023 season.
Who is Mittali Parulkar?
Mittali Parulkar is an entrepreneur and she is currently 29 years old. She is the founder of the venture known as “All the Jazz: Luxury Bakers,” a well-known bakery business that offers opulent confections from all over the world. Mittali presently resides in Mumbai but is originally from Kolhapur in Maharashtra.
In February 2020, Mittali Parulkar launched her own baking company, and she has since been in charge of both the bakery and its website. She is quite successful in selling a variety of cakes, cookies, bread, and buns at All the Jazz Luxury Bakers.
Before starting her business, Mittali was also a CS, and she has worked for many renowned companies, such as Blue Star Diamonds, Chetak Enterprises Limited, and JSW. She is a graduate of Mithibhai College.
Shardul and Mittali’s Wedding Date & Venue
Last year in an interview with a news channel, the bride-to-be, Mittali, confirmed that Shardul and her are getting married on February 27. Mittali herself revealed that all the festivities before the wedding day will start on February 25. The couple finalised Kajrat, a city near Mumbai, for their big day.
Mittali also revealed that the wedding will be done in Maharashtrian style with a few spins. The couple has also invited approximately 250 guests to the wedding. In an interview, Mittali revealed that she is excited to get married to Shardul. She also said, “I have butterflies in my stomach.
Mittali also revealed that Shardul’s schedule is hectic; he is playing until February 24 and will only be able to join on February 25. So she has taken charge of all the management and preparations regarding their wedding.
Shardul and Mittali’s Wedding Festivities
Shardul Thakur’s haldi ceremony held at his house in the presence of his friends & family. The star batsman Rohit Sharma attended the wedding functions along with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. Various other people from the Indian Cricket Team attended the wedding festivities of Shardul and Mittali.
Shreyas Iyer, Arjun Tendulkar and Yuzwendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree also witnessed Shardul’s wedding festivities.
Shardul and Mittali’s Engagement
The couple dated for a while and later got engaged on November 21 in an intimate ceremony in the presence of friends and family. The couple got engaged at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s facility in BKC with almost 75 guests in attendance.
Rohit Sharma, Abhishek Nayar, and Dhawal Kulkarni attended their fellow teammate’s engagement and shared several pictures.
