Aesha Mukherji, Shikhar Dhawan’s estranged wife, has been ordered by the Delhi High Court to bring their son to India for family events. The mother of their son must travel to India for family events, the court said, because she does not have sole custody of him.

Although the ex-couple had initiated legal proceedings in both India and Australia regarding divorce and child custody. As per claims, the family of Shikhar Dhawan had not seen the child since 2020, and Aesha had to bring Zorawar to India on June 17, 2023, but she did not due to his school.

The event was later moved to July 1. Mukerji disagreed once more, stating that the event would be a failure because numerous extended family members were not contacted regarding the new date.

Shikhar Dhawan was born on December 5, 1985, in Delhi, India. He belongs to a Punjabi Family his father’s name is Mahendra Pal Dhawan and his mother’s name is Sunaina Dhawan. Dhawan started playing when he was very young.

He did his schooling from schooling at St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School in Meera Bagh, Delhi. He trained at Sonnet Club under the guidance of coach Tarak Sinha who is a very known coach in India. Dhawan is a left-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler.

Dhawan debuted for Delhi Under-16s in the 1999–2000 Vijay Merchant Trophy and was the competition’s top run-scorer in 2000–2001 when Delhi finished second. In February 2001, Dhawan was chosen for the North Zone Under-16s team to compete in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Dhawan represented India in the 2004 Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh and finished with 505 runs, which made him the tournament’s top run-scorer.In November 2004 during the Ranji Trophy season for the 2004–05 year, Dhawan made his first-class debut for Delhi against Andhra, hitting 49 in his opening innings.

Shikhar Dhawan made his IPL debut in 2008 with the Delhi Daredevils. In 2010, he made his ODI debut, and in 2011 and 2013, he earned his T20 and Test debuts. He was selected to serve as India’s captain in 2021 for white-ball tours against Sri Lanka.
