The legend of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar wants selection committee and Virat Kohli to include Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami in the playing XI against New Zealand.
The Indian cricket team is raging new heights with their spectacular performance in the World cup and now as the semi-final match is approaching people are eager to know what changes will the men in blue make in their team.
Team India is all set to play the semi-final match on July 9 against New Zealand at Old Trafford in Manchester. It will be their first encounter in this WC as the league stage match was called off due to rain.
While India is on top of the points table, New Zealand is on a three-match losing streak. They need to show their A class performance to defeat India in the semi-final.
Amidst the preparation for the semi-final match, Sachin Tendulkar, the legend of Indian cricket said that Ravindra Jadeja is a good option that India can opt for against New Zealand in the semis.
He further added that right now India is playing with five bowlers and an extra bowling option is necessary to pace up the chances of victory in the semi.
He further said that Ravindra Jadeja would be a good option for team India in the semis and therefore he should be included in the playing 11 against New Zealand.
Sachin also insisted on bringing back Mohammed Shami into the team. He was given rest in the game against Sri Lanka.
Sachin said that Shami had performed well at the same venue earlier and there are lots of good experiences that Shami has given to people at Old Trafford. Therefore he insisted on bringing back Sami in the game.
Selecting a perfect playing 11 against New Zealand is going to be a tough task for Virat Kohli and team management. Many experts have also suggested that India should include Jadeja in place of Kartik/Jadhav.
