The 9th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, also called the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League due to sponsorship reasons, is about to come to an end and declare its winner.
Launched in 2014, the PKL is a men’s professional Kabbadi league, and its inception was influenced by the popularity of the Kabaddi tournament at the 2006 Asian Games. Its format was influenced by the Indian Premier League, and it also used a franchise-based model.
Since its inception, the league has brought a revolution to the sport of Kabaddi, as people who once stuck to only cricket have shown their interest in watching Kabaddi.

Vivo Pro Kabaddi 2022 Final Date
The exciting league is about to come to an end as it has gotten its two finalists, the Jaipur Pink Panthers and the Puneri Paltan, who are going to take on each other in the final match that will be contested on Saturday (Today), December 17, 2022, at 07:30 PM onwards.
In the first semi-final match, Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated the defending champion Bengaluru Bulls to advance to the final, while Puneri Paltan ended Tamil Thalaivas’ journey in the tournament by defeating them 39-37 and confirming their place in the final.

Vivo Pro Kabaddi 2022 Final Venue
The final match between the Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan will be played at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel indoor stadium in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The semi-final matches were also played there.
If the Jaipur Pink Panthers win, it will be their second title after the first season of the Pro Kabbadi League, whereas if Puneri Paltan succeeds in taking the lead on the former, it will be their first ever title in the league.
