Former Pakistani Cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, shared a very emotional video on his Instagram asking his fans to pray for his speedy recovery. Shoaib Akhtar said he was in pain for the last 11 years and he underwent a knee operation in Melbourne, Australia.

Former Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar who has built quite a following with his Cricket Analysis Videos has shared a very emotional video on his Instagram Handle where he said he is in a lot of pain and needed his fans’ prayers to get him through this difficult phase of his life.
He also said he hoped that this would be his last surgery and in the video Shoaib Akhtar also revealed that he has been in pain for the past 11 years, even after his retirement from international cricket.
Shoaib Akhtar believe he could have played another 4- 5 years
Akhtar also added he would have played for another four to five years. But he was aware that if he did it he would become wheelchair-bound. Akhtar said this was the reason for his retirement.
After some time Shoaib Akhtar shared another video in which he said his surgery went well and he is recovering.
Shoaib Akhtar has played a total 46 Tests matches, 163 ODIs and 14 T20Is for the Pakistani Cricket team. In Tests, the fast bowler picked up 178 wickets, in ODIs he took 247 wickets and in T20Is he took 21 wickets.
And a very interesting thing about him is he is the first and the only bowler in the history of Cricket to clock a 100 mph delivery.
