CSK’s orthodox bowler Deepak Chahar Proposes to Girlfriend Jaya post match against Punjab during last IPL season. Though the CSK team lost the match, Deepak won the hearts all over social media, by proposing to his beautiful Girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj.
Deepak has been the CSK’s strength throughout the last season, he was one of the highest wicket-taker by their side, always got the crucial wickets in the power-play for the team. He got 13 wickets in the season with the best 4/13, with an economy rate of 8.36 but this season was not good for the cricketer due to back injury.
He was in news from that evening when he proposes to his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj, after the match. The match was being played between CSK Vs PBKS, it was the 53rd match of the IPL, where Punjab completely dominated the mighty CSK. K.L Rahul’s brilliant Knock of 92 runs in just 42 balls with a strike rate of 233.33 took the match away from Csk’s hand.
Deepak’s bowling wasn’t good in the match he conceded 42 runs in his 4 overs spell with an economy rate of 12.00, which results in CSK lost the match by 6 wickets. It was the third consecutive loss for Csk in UAE.
Though he didn’t perform well with the bowl, the bowler got another reason for the team to cheer when he proposes to his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj. She works in a corporate firm in Delhi NCR and is the sister of MTV Splitsvilla 2 Winner Siddharth Bhardwaj. Siddharth also participated in Bigg Boss Season 5 where he emerged as a 2nd Runner Up.
