It’s almost time for the anticipated Nothing Phone (1). The company disclosed that it would auction off the first 100 smartphones before their official release.
Nothing has officially announced this news via Twitter and stated that the auction date would be June 21.
When and how to take advantage of the sale?
The StockX website, with whom Nothing has teamed, will formally sell the first 100 Nothing Phones (1). You must register for a StockX account in order to participate in the auction, which will begin on June 21 at 6:30 PM IST. It is a charge-free auction, therefore users have no fees to pay.
Within 35 days of booking, the first 100 chosen users will receive the smartphone. Users can start placing bids once the phone is available on the DropX product page (StockX’s tech platform).
Serialising the Nothing Phone units from 1 to 100 and matching them with the bids will take place simultaneously for the 100 winning bidders. The corporation announced that users from South Korea and Mexico won’t be able to take part in this auction.
At a virtual ceremony on July 2 at 8:30 PM IST, Nothing Phone (1) will make its formal debut. Therefore, make sure to register for a StockX account and begin bidding on the designated date and time if you want to be one of the first owners of the much-hyped nothing smartphone.
