Super Star Singer Winner 2019: The Popular Sony TV Show “ Superstar Singer” signed off with a glorious night of entertainment. With great performances from all the contestants, there had to be a winner. And the Gleaming trophy went to Pocket-size dynamo Prity Bhattacharjee.
It was a great evening with great performances from the runners up like Nishtha Sharma, Sneha Shankar, Mauli, Harshit Nath, and Ankona Mukherjee. All of them performed exceptionally well. But the highlight of the show was Prity Chatarjee’s performance on the classic evergreen melody “Aplam Chaplam,” which was appreciated by legends of the music industry.
All the judges like Alka Yagnik, Javed, and Himesh Reshammiya were looking stunning. Their mentors well-groomed the kids for the past few weeks. The four mentors of the kids included Salman Ali, Sachin Valmiki, Nitin Kumar, and Jyotica Tangri.
Prity sang exceptionally well throughout the season, and she even claimed after the interview that she couldn’t believe the moment. With tears in her eyes, She dedicated the victory to her parents. The show also had the appearances of famous comedians Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. Both of them entertained the crowd with their hilarious acts.
Prity thanked her mentor Nitin Sharma for his great mentoring skills. In her post-show interview with TOI, she claimed that she would like to playback for her favorite actress Deepika Padukone. She even Thanked Jyotica Tangri, who was responsible for bringing her to the show. A winning prize of 15 lakhs was awarded to prity, and two lakhs of Education funds each were given to other finalists. It was a dramatic finish to this amazing show, where talented kids are given a platform to prove themselves. Such shows receive massive popularity, and it is reflected in their whopping TRP’s.
With the end of the first season, Superstar Singer makes way for the start of another popular Music reality Show “ Indian Idol,” whose promos look enthralling as well. Sony is ruling the TRP charts against its rival channels with Shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma and Kaun Banega Crorepati.
