Kobe Bryant killed in a plane crash; Bollywood celebs share condolences

Basketball ace Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old Gianna Bryant were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday near Los Angeles. Mourning his death, Bollywood celebrities shared heartfelt messages on social media.
Sunday morning witnessed the death of one of the most-celebrated basketball player in the world. NBA’s all-time legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles. The 41-year-old sports player, his 13-year-old daughter along with seven other passengers including the pilot were killed in the accident that happened near Calabasas, California. Kobe would prefer travelling to locations for his matches on his private chopper to avoid the infamous Los Angeles traffic.
This time the chopper Sikorsky S-76 foggy hit foggy weather hilly region in Calabasas, California that is about (65 km)away from central Los Angeles. This sparked a brush fire which ultimately caused the plane crash.

As per reports, Kobe and daughter Gianna were travelling to Thousand Oaks for a basketball tournament that Kobe was due to play. The cause of the plane crash hasn’t been discovered yet but dedicated teams are constantly working to resolve the issue and prevent such happenings in the future.
The NBA games on Sunday were interrupted with minutes of silence to mourn the death of the iconic star. Celebrities from all over the world have shared condolences and support for the grieving family. Bollywood celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Arjun kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Vishal Dadlani took to their social media channels to share heartfelt messages for the 41-year-old basketball player.
Priyanka even dedicated her Grammy Awards look to Kobe Bryants as got Kobe’s 24 number inked on her nail. She shared the photo on her Instagram Stories with caption’#RIPMamba’.

Besides Bollywood celebrities, Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli also took to his Instagram to share a message for Kobe Bryant, popularly known as Black Mamba.
The sad incident has sent shock waves around the world. Former US President Barack Obama too expressed his grief through a post on Twitter. Football star Cristiano Ronaldo also shared a sad note on the untimely demise of his fellow sportsperson.
