What exactly happened with MohBad?
On September 25, 2023, Perez Medcare Hospital released a statement stating that MohBad didn’t die in the hospital but was rushed in dead already. As per reports, when MohBad was taken to the hospital, the medical team discovered no sign of life, no pulse rate, no heartbeat, and no recordable vital signs.
After attempting CPR on him, stiffness on some of his body parts was observed, and the person who came with him was informed that it was a case of BID (brought in dead). After some further inquiry about the circumstances leading to the emergency, the team at Prez Medcare was informed that the deceased was being treated at home by a nurse.
Who is the main suspect in MohBad death?
The investigation into the death of MohBad pointed towards the nurse who treated him just a day before his death. The nurse was called to treat some unknown illness of MohBad. She checked on him and gave him three 3 injections that had some kind of chain reaction in them, which caused the death of the Nigerian star.
The nurse is in custody, but there have been no formal charges brought against her yet. According to a police investigation, the doses of the drugs which were given to MohBad by the nurse triggered reactions like vomiting, goosebumps, and convulsions that eventually resulted in the singer’s death.”
The suspect is an assistant nurse who wasn’t qualified to administer the medications. The Lagos police chief stated that the nurse acknowledged that the injection she administered to the Nigerian singer caused his death.
The former boss of MohBad’s, Naira Marley, a controversial musician currently on trial in Nigeria for alleged internet fraud. Marley was accused of maltreating MohBad, which he denied. He remains in police custody as one of the suspects in the case, the Nigerian Police confirmed.
