Few Days ago there was a video that went viral on social media of a journalist slapping a boy while she was reporting on the occasion of Eid al-Adha on 9 July. The viral video was from Pakistan.
Maira Hashmi is a 24 years old Pakistani journalist and she reports for Lahore Rang. In the latest viral video we can see that Maira is surrounded by a group of women, men and children and she was reporting on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and while reporting she suddenly slaps a boy.
Maira herself shared that video on her Twitter and this video went viral in both the Countries India and Pakistan with in no time.

In her recent tweet she explained the reason why she slapped that boy, Maira took to twitter and said that boy was harassing the family she was interviewing and even after politely asking him to stop he kept on doing it.

The guy was harassing the family during the interview – which made the family upset. I first lovingly explained that don’t do this, but despite the explanation, this guy didn’t understand and was making a lot of noise – after which I made sure that his action wouldn’t be tolerated by giving him any opportunity.

People have different opinions about this video some People supported her while some said she should not have slapped him and some people are even saying it is merely a publicity stunt.
