Rishab Shetty’s blockbuster Kannada film Kantara has completed the last day of its fifth week. The small film has crossed 300 crores at the box office worldwide in just 33 days.
It is eying the 150 Cr nett mark in Karnataka and has crossed the 50 crore nett mark in Hindi on day 35. The dubbed versions of the film were released 2 weeks after the original version. The Telugu version of the film has been considered a hit and has made 21 crores profit in just 19 days in Telugu states.

Kantara crosses 50 Cr in Hindi
Kantara has made its mark in the Hindi belt as well. It opened with upwards of 1 crore at the box office and has been stable ever since churning out moolah day in and day out. Kantara-Hindi recently toppled the lifetime biz of KGF-1 in the Hindi belt emerging as the 7th highest all-time grosser south film, here.
The 19-days Hindi collection of Kantara stands at ₹ 47.55 Cr, it is estimated to have collected ₹ 1.9 crores on Wed taking the Hindi figures to 49.4 crores. And as per the latest reports, Kantara-Hindi has crossed the 50 Cr mark accumulating over 1.7 Cr on Thu.
Box Office Collection Day 35
Rishab’s film collected 88.94 Lakhs from pre-sales, all versions for Thu (Day 35), the Hindi version has outdone the original version in the advance bookings selling the most no. of tickets on daily basis.
As per the trade estimations, Kantara–all versions– accumulated ₹ 3.5-4 crore on Thu taking the total collections in the vicinity of 250 crores.

Kantara Eying 350 Cr Worldwide
The 33-day total worldwide gross collection of Kantara stands at ₹ 309.78 crores which consist of ₹ 283.78 crores gross in India and ₹ 26 crores gross overseas. The next target of the film would be to cross the 350 crore mark in the coming days.
Talking about the domestic collections, it has collected ₹ 241.59 crores nett in 33 days, all versions. It is estimated to have collected 4.36 crores on the 5th Wed making the total collections in the vicinity of 246 crores nett. It will cross the 250 crore nett mark on the 6th Friday.
