On March 14, Netflix India shared a video announcing the third seasons of their critically acclaimed and popular shows, including ‘Delhi Crime’, ‘Mismatched’, ‘Kota Factory’, and ‘She’. The streamer also announced season 3 of the reality TV series “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives”.

1. Chamkila
Release Date: 2024

Star Cast: Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra
Chamila teaser released by Netflix, this musical drama is a tribute to Punjab’s very famous singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who died at the age of 27 but made a place in Punjabi music, Diljit Singh is looking promising in the teaser, the first time without a turban in a film or song.
2. Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives Season 3

Mismatched returns for a third season after two strong seasons. The last two seasons of Mismatched got a lot of praise from the audience, particularly from the younger generation. The show is based on the novel “When Dimple Met Rishi” by Sandhya Menon.
5. Delhi Crime Season 3

A new season of Delhi Crime has been announced by Netflix India. Netflix released a video in which it revealed that several shows, including Delhi Crime: Season 3, will return for a third season.
The show’s third season is currently in development and Sudhanshu Saria, who received a National Film Award in 2021, wrote the script for the third season.
6. Kaala Paani Season 2

Dulquer Salman appeared alongside Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao in the Netflix web series Guns & Gulaabs, which is billed as a comedy crime thriller directed, produced, and created by The Family Man’s Raj & DK under their banner D2R Films. The first season of Guns and Gulaabs was released on 18th August 2023, with 7 episodes.
The series is the second collaboration between Netflix and Raj & DK after Cinema Bandi. Set in the 1990s world of violence and crime, it explores the story of innocence and love blended with a sense of humor.
10. Soup

In March 2022, the platform announced a dark comedy original series bankrolled by MacGuffin Pictures. The story is based on a true story and centers around a suspicious husband played by Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Swathi Shetty, who is a cooking enthusiast and wants to open her own restaurant.
The series will tell how a lady with the ambition to be self-dependent, starts her own restaurant and makes her dream come true despite many obstacles, which include her husband, who often doubts her, and some other villainous characters.
11. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2

12. Dabba Cartel

13. For Your Eyes Only

For Your Eyes Only is a highly anticipated spy thriller that is produced by Bombay Fables Motion Pictures and written by Gaurav Shukla and Bhavesh Mandalia. Both Shukla and Mandalia have previously collaborated in the comedy drama film Angrezi Medium. The team began filming on October 1, 2022, and the show is reportedly being shot in three countries.

15. Baahubali: Before the Beginning

The Netflix original series, ‘Baahubali: Before the Beginning’ is part of the Baahubali franchise. It is produced by S.S. Rajamouli and Arka Media Works. The nine-episode series will serve as the prequel to the franchise’s first film, Baahubali: The Beginning.
Directed by Deva Katta and Anand Neelakantam, the series is based on the latter’s novel “The Rise of Sivagami,” and it follows Queen Sivagami’s journey from a rebellious girl to a wise queen of Mahismati Kingdom.
Reportedly, Netflix spent Rs 150 crore on the series and later shelved the shooting after six months of shooting due to the makers’ dissatisfaction with the visuals. However, Netflix hasn’t made any official statements regarding this.
According to some sources, the streamer is reevaluating this large-budget project in order to bring the best version of the story to the audience.
