Vikrant Massey, who has gained so much popularity over the year due to his exceptional action skills, has announced his new film, titled 12th Fail, with ace filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has both directed and written the film.
The actor, who started his career with television serials, made his acting debut in Bollywood with the 2013 period romantic drama Lootera.
He rose to prominence after he played the role of Bablu Pandit in Amazon Prime Video’s acclaimed crime drama web-series Mirzapur, after which there was no looking back for the actor.
He became one of the most popular names in the OTT world and also appears in web series like Broken But Beautiful, Made In Heaven, Criminal Justice, etc.
Vikrant Massey Announces His Next Film ’12th Fail’
Actor Vikrant Massey on Thursday, November 30th, announced his next film, “12th Fail,” which is reportedly, a text-to-screen adaptation of author Anurag Pathak’s bestseller of the same name.
The actor shared a short video clip on Instagram showing fans gathered up in a place and going crazy as he wave hands towards him. As the film is based on the life of a UPSC aspirants, the makers decided to shoot the film in Mukherjee Nagar, New Delhi, which is the hub of Hindi medium UPSC preparation, with the zest to keep the film authentic.
It is the first film that is shot in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar, and when Vikrant Massey and the team reached there, it became a thrilling moment for the fans, who went crazy watching him. Massey also expressed his gratitude towards them by greeting them and waving his hand.

About the Film & Its Release Date
The film is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2022. The first scheduled was shot in Chambal, Agra, and after wrapping it, the team made its way to Mukherjee Nagar, to shoot the second schedule, as it is indeed a perfect location to shoot the film with hanging banners of coaching institutes around.
Inspired by real-life events, the film follows aspiring students who come to Mukherjee Nagar from across India with dreams in their eyes of becoming future IAS/IPS officers.
