Known Bollywood filmmaker producer Subhash Ghai is all set to make his digital debut with his film 36 Farmhouse. It is a murder mystery film directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma.

Subhash Ghai Produced the film under his home banner Mukhtar Arts with the collaboration of Zee Studios. Ghai’s last venture as a producer was the 2015 romantic action film Hero starring debutante’s Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

Star Cast of 36 Farmhouse

It features method actors like Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz, and Digital stars Amol Parashar, Barkha Sigh, Flora Saini in pivotal roles, Other actors Ashwini Kalsekar, Liza Singh (Juhi), K.K. Gautam (Security), and Pradeep Bajpai (Aditya Mane) are also featured in the film.

Ghai also wrote the story, gave the music, and penned the lyrics of the film. Sharad Tripathi wrote the dialogues. Akhilesh Shrivastava is the cinematographer and the editing is done by Shashank mali and Anubhav Sarda.

Over The Top (OTT) Release Date

Though the makers haven’t announced the release date of the film yet, they recently through a tweet wrote that the film will be streamed on the homegrown digital platform Zee 5 soon.


36 Farmhouse revolves around an investigation of a murder in a wealthy family in a lavish farmhouse now, the suspects are servants, family members as the tagline of the film also suggests ‘Some Steal For Need, Some Steel For Greed.’

The Official Teaser of 36 Farmhouse was recently unveiled by the makers on the social media platforms, the close to 1-minute teaser shows the glimpse of troubled Vijay Raaz, a shocked landlady Mishra, Amol as Robbers.

Makers wrote in the description of the film on YouTube as “A lavish Farmhouse, A Wealthy Family, A Gripping Murder Mystery. What Secrets Are Hidden Within the Walls Of this House?”

Talking about the celebrated filmmaker of Hindi cinema Subhash Ghai, he started his career as an actor from the 1967 film Taqdeer and then Aradhana in 1969, he appeared in both films as a supporting actor further Ghai was seen as the main lead in the Umang in 1970 and Gumrah in 1976.

His most notable works in Bollywood are Karz (1980), Jung(1985), Karma(1986), Ram Lakhan (1989), etc. Ghai’s 2006 production film Iqbal received the National Film Award in the category of Other Social Issues.
