Filmfare Awards is one of the biggest and most prestigious events held annually to honour the artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi film Industry of India. It is one of the oldest film events in the country.
The awards were first introduced in 1954 by the Filmfare magazine of The Times Group and the same year, another prestigious National Film Awards was also established. This year Filmfare Awards is going to celebrate its 67th edition, which is going to be very exciting.
The Filmfare Awards were originally referred to as the Clare Awards of The Clares after the editor of popular Indian new paper Times of India, Clare Mendonca. In the context of Hindi film Industry, these awards are equivalent to the Academy Awards in the United States.
Filmfare Awards 2022 Hosts
Bollywood’s best buddies Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, who have earlier worked in 2014 action drama film Gundey are coming together to host the prestigious Filmfare Awards 2022. Ranveer, who is hosting the Filmfare for the first time also attended the press conference where he said that hosting takes ten times more work as well as ten times the amount of time.
We are sure he will set the stage on fire with his great sense of humour and energetic attitude. The actor also revealed that he will have Amazon time hosting the event with his Gunday co-star Arjun Kapoor.

How & Where to Book Tickets for the live show?
This year the Filmfare Awards event will be held on August 30, 2022 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The 6- hour long show will be started at 6 pm. Those who want to enjoy the events live can book their tickets on “BookMyShow”.
