The Sandalwood adventure comedy ‘777 Charlie’ has been running to the packed houses in Karnataka since its arrival, and melted the hearts of those who watched the flick.
The storyline follows the bonding between a labrador dog Charlie and a loner Dharma. Directed and written by Kiranraj. K, it is his first full-fledged film as a director, he has been receiving praise for his film ever since it hit the theatres. Recently Bollywood actor John Abraham heaped praise on his work and told him that he will watch the film soon, reported TOI.
Charlie got a stupendous response on the first weekend from the audience and minted Rs 38.75 Cr, it has been performing well in the home market but the Hindi collections of it are not up to the mark.

In the first three days, 777 Charlie earned only Rs 1 Cr in Hindi, the reason for the poor performance of the film in the northern belt is, Rakshit Shetty is not popular like Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Yash among the Hindi audience and the second reason is being said is the limited shows due to which many who are willing to watch it are unable to do so.

Rakshit Shetty starrer is churning out big moolah in the home market, the film in its one week run earned Rs 32.60 crores.
Following the positive trends, it performs very well on Saturday, the film witnessed a jump showing a whopping growth of over 97% as compared to the prior day (Rs 3.45 Cr). It managed to collect Rs 6.8 Cr, taking the total collections to Rs 49 Cr in India. it will cross the Rs 50 Cr mark in India on Sunday (Day 10).
