Directed and written by Kiranraj K., Kannada adventure comedy drama film 777 Charlie has gained an amazing response from moviegoers and now the film is also available on OTT platform.
The film is a heartwarming tale of the beautiful relationship and bond between a man, Dharma and a Labrador puppy, who escapes from the house of a breeder where many dogs have been caged and tortured.
The dog named Charlie finally reached the colony where Dharma resides, Dharma is a loner, who works in a factory. He doesn’t believe in socialising with people and has a daily routine like going to work, returning home, smoking and drinking etc.
The film shows how the beautiful female Labrador Charlie, came to the life of Dharma who doesn’t have any purpose in life and how she changes his life completely and makes him a better human being.

The film starring actor Rakshit Shetty, who also bankrolled it, was shot in various locations across Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir.
It was released on June 10, 2022 in Kannada along with dubbed Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions and had a successful theatre run. It received huge critical acclaim for its cast performance particularly of Rakshit and the most-adorable, four-legged star Charlie, writing, emotional weight and direction, etc.
Now, the makers have come up with good news for all those who somehow didn’t make it to theatres, that the film has started streaming on Voot from today, July 29, 2022 in Kannada languages.
The film was also loved by Hindi audiences who are eagerly waiting for the film to be streamed in Hindi, good news for the audiences that the film will be available soon on Amazon Prime from 30th Sep, for rental users:

The film made on a budget of Rs. 20 crore crossed the mark of Rs. 100 crore in its theatre run. It is the 3rd highest grossing film of the Sandalwood industry for the year 2022 so far following Yash starrer K.G.F: Chapter 2 and Puneet Rajkumar starrer James.
It is the fourth highest grossing Kannada film of all time. As we said, the Hindi belt also loves the film, so it collected a decent amount here.
