Abhiram Daggubati, who is the younger brother of Bahubali fame Rana Daggubati and the youngest son of one of the popular South Indian producers, D. Suresh Babu, is all set to make his debut in the Tollywood film industry soon.
The debutant is all set for his most-awaited upcoming release Ahimsa, which is a romantic crime thriller drama movie that is going to be delivered soon by its makers.
Abhiram’s father and popular director Daggubati Suresh Babu offered the responsibility of introducing him to the multiple award-winning director Teja, who is known for helming romantic movies.
Ahimsa First Look Poster
Today on 22nd February 2022, the makers of the movie have released the first look poster of this most-awaited romantic action thriller film, on the occasion of the film’s director Teja’s birthday.
Although the film is titled Ahimsa which means non-violence, the first look poster of the film looks contrary to its title.
In the poster, debutant and male lead Abhiram Daggubati is featured in a violent and fierce look, with a jute bag around his head and blood dripping from his mouth.
This fierce look is quite intriguing and the makers of the movie have made a good impression with this promising poster, as it is making the fans more enthusiastic and eager to watch the film.

Ahimsa Announcement and Production
The title of the film was announced on July 4, 2021, during the Puja ceremony which took place at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The popular personalities of Tollywood cinema include debutant’s brother Rana Daggubati, his uncle Venkatesh, senior producers such as Shyam Prasad Reddy, K.L. Narayana, Gemini Kiran, and others were present at the launch.
Abhiram’s father producer D. Suresh Babu loved the script and after his approval, the pre-production work of the movie commenced.
According to the media sources, the filming of the movie began in August last year. It took place in different parts of Madhya Pradesh. The makers announced its wrap today by dropping its pre-look poster.
Ahimsa Star Cast & Makers
The film features Abhiram Daggubati, who got training for his role in Vizag, as the male lead. Geethika Tiwary will be seen opposite him as the female lead. Earlier Keerthy Suresh was the first choice for the female lead.
Reportedly, Ramandeep Kaur, an actress as well as a social media influencer will be seen doing the important role of a female antagonist.
Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi, who is popular for playing the role of a villain is also making his comeback as the main villain with this movie, which marks his debut in the Tollywood Film Industry.
Rajat worked in close to 50 Bollywood movies including International Khiladi, Jodi No. 1, Indian, Jaani Dushman, Chor Machaaye Shor, The Train etc.
Ahimsa Makers
The film is helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Teja, who is a daring director of many sensational blockbusters such as Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
It is jointly bankrolled by the lead actor’s father D. Suresh Babu under his Suresh Productions in association with P. Kiran’s Anandi Art Creations.
If we talk about technical work, the cinematography is handled by Sameer Reddy while the film has music and background score by R.P. Patnaik.
