The much-awaited comedy-horror Bhediya releases on 25th of November, when everyone is busy praising Ajay Devgn’s suspense thriller Drishyam 2 and Kannada sensational blockbuster Kantara is still in theatres.
The top critics praise Stree (2018) fame director Amar Kaushik’s attempt, a supernatural script reminds Hollywood films like Morbius, The Wolverine Series and others, here desi humour makes this different and interesting watch, especially among kids and youth.

Bhediya opens with a low number, so not a good comeback for charming actor Varun Dhawan who was hit machine in his initial years. After back to back flops like Kalank, Street Dancer 3D, Coolie No. 1, he made comeback with hit family entertainer Jug Jugg Jeeyo but Bhediya’s opening is bad.
A big hyped film like Bhediya failed to open with double digit, it hints shocking final verdict. The film opened with just Rs 7.48 Cr, last weekend releases Drishyam 2 second Friday number (Rs 7.87) is bigger than this.

There is no doubt, Bhediya is a complete entertainer from blockbuster Stree makers, but audiences’ mood is different now. So the advance booking reports for Saturday were also not in favour of Bhediya, another side Ajay’s Drishyam leads weekend with big double digit.
Bhediya did better than opening and with a small jump, collected Rs 9.57 Cr on Saturday, expected at least 10 crore as hype and from makers like horror comedy Stree.
