Varun Dhawan’s “Bhediya” has become slow at the box office due to the major fall on the first Monday. Although it has been on a steady trend on the weekdays, the earnings of the film are on the lower side because of the big drop of over 66% on Mon (day 4).
It failed to touch the 50 crore mark in its first week. It was opened with positive reviews from the critics however took a below-par start due to the clash with Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2. Bhediya will lock horns with Ayushmann’s An Action Hero this Friday and it is to be seen how much it affects the former business.

Box Office Collection Day 7
The advance trend of the flick has been stable on the weekdays as it again minted 57.28L from the pre-sales for Thu. Now, going by the trade reports, it stays stable on Thu as well. As per the trade estimations, Bhediya collects ₹ 3 Cr on day 7, in the domestic market.
Bhediya Box Office 1st Week
Varun starrer had made a good pre-release buzz through its trailer and novel theme, however, it failed to translate into box office numbers. It opened with a below-par start of 7.48 Cr while it was expected to touch the double-digit figures.
Bhediya picked the pace on Sat with a growth of 27.94%, it again saw a 20.17% rise in earnings on Sun (day 3). The total first weekend collections of Bhediya stand at 28.55 Cr.
It collected ₹ 3.85 Cr on the first Mon with a major drop of 66.52% and has been flat on the weekdays.

The total domestic collections of Bhediya now stands upwards of 42 crores, nett. The reason behind the underperformance of Varun starrer is its clash with Drishyam 2 which affected its biz big time. Drishyam 2 is nearing to completion of its 2-week run and remains the top choice for moviegoers.
