Kartik’s latest flick Bhool Bhuliayaa 2 is emerging as the most successful Bollywood film of the year 2022. Trade analysts had placed a bet on the film, they called it the most crucial film considering the phase was industry going through.
The Hindi film industry had been seeing a series of flops in past some months like Attack, Runway 34, Jersey, Bachchan Paandey, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Heropanti2, amid all this, Kartik starrer emerged as a winner.
The film started with making a record of the highest opener Bollywood film of 2022 non-holiday, holiday included. With a collection of Rs 14.11 Cr on the very first day, BB2 becomes Kartik’s highest opener film also, after Love Aaj Kal (Rs 12 Cr).
On the second day, Anees Bazmee’s directorial minted Rs 18.34 Cr, taking the total collections to Rs 32 Cr+. Now heading towards a strong second weekend, it was being estimated that the film will hit a half-century on the opening weekend.
The advance booking’s for the third day were said to be around Rs 10 Cr, and seems spot bookings pick up the pace, as the film accumulated over Rs 20 Cr making the total collections to Rs 50 Cr+
With this the film also became the highest opening weekend for Kartik, it leaves behind his Pati Patni Aur Woh’s Rs 35 crores and Luka Chuppi’s Rs 32 Cr opening weekend.

From the first Monday onwards, the next target of the film will become to cross the Rs 75 Cr nett mark, which seems Kartik’s film will rake in by the second weekend.
