Kartik Aaryan seems like is back on his hit spree, if left, Love Aaj Kal’s box office collections which was released in pandemic times, Kartik has been giving consistent hits at the BO India.
And now with the Bhool Bhuliayaa2, the Bollywood industry which was in the doldrums for the past some months, the actor’s flick is trying to bring the industry back into the life. It had an amazing opening weekend and in the coming weekdays will cover its budget.
Aneez Bazmee who had tickled our funny bones with the No Entry, Welcome, Singh is Kinng, Ready and Welcome Back has added another masterpiece to his successful films list.
On the contrary, earlier Kartik’s role was in question whether he would repeat the Akshay’s like performance or not, but the actor seems to have done his job aptly in the sequel.
T-Series had left no stone unturned to promote the film, the BB brand and the popularity of Kartik-Kiara in the youth gave the film an outstanding start of Rs 14.11 Cr.
And since then the film has been seeing an upward trend in its box office collection it earned Rs 18.34 Cr on Saturday with over 29% growth and again saw a huge jump on Sunday of over 28% growth as compared to Saturday, and accumulated Rs 23.51 Cr nett collections in the domestic market.
Now, as per the early reports, it accumulated a decent number on the first Monday, it earned in the range of Rs 10.7 Cr taking the total collections to Rs 66.7 crores nett at the BO India. The fall in the ticket prices is because the ticket rate dropped in the major cities, single screens are still selling the ticket rates in the same price as earlier, while if talk about the number of footfalls, it is nominal as compared to the Friday.
With the day 4 collections, it became the second film after The Kashmir Files, which collected the double digits on day 4, The Kashmir Files had collected Rs 15.05 Cr, and Gangubai Kathiawadi Rs 8.19 Cr.
Kartik is emerging as a young superstar in the industry, his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 is en route to becoming a blockbuster like The Kashmir Files. It seems his film will reach Rs 90 to 95 Cr mark in the first week itself.
