Kartik starrer horror-comedy has successfully managed to charm the cinephiles, the film so far has churned out Rs 92.59 crores gross worldwide, and is now on the way to join the 100 Cr club.
The overseas collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are out now, it minted Rs 1.7 million U.S dollars (INR 13.18 Cr approx) in the opening weekend. With it, BB2 became Kartik’s highest grosser opening weekend film in the overseas market.
It left behind the 1.13 million USD (INR 8.76 Cr approx) of Lukka Chuppi and 1.1 million USD of Love Aaj Kal (INR 8.5 Cr approx) on opening weekend.
The collections were pouring in the cash register of the BB2 since its arrival, as a result, it now crosses the Rs 100 Cr gross mark on Tuesday (Day 5) and will cross the nett 100 Cr mark on the 9th day.
As per the early reports, it raked in around Rs 9.50 Cr nett on Tuesday from the domestic market with a nominal 10% drop compared to the prior day, taking the total collections to Rs 76.20 Cr .
Kartik’s past track record makes him the young superstar of Bollywood, who is popular among youth, children, and families. He has been consistently giving the hit after hit at the box office, this time too the actor saved the industry which has been in the doldrums.
