One of the popular and most-watched Hindi reality shows of Indian Television, Bigg Boss has been ended with its 15th season on 30 Jan 2022, with 122 episodes in 120 days.
The show, hosted by Salman Khan started with 16 contestants in the house and premiered on Oct 2, 2021, on Colors TV, an Indian broadcasting network owned by Viacom18.
Bigg Boss 15 Winner
Tejasswi Prakash won the show with prize money of Rs 40 Lakhs, Bigg Boss OTT contestant Pratik Sehajpaal became the runner-up of this season, Tejasswi’s beau Karan Kundra is the 2nd runner-up, and the 3rd runner up is Shamita Shetty.

Nishant took a briefcase (Worth Rs 10 Lakhs) and decided to walk out, called the 4th runner-up of the season.
Bigg Boss 15 Finalists
As we all know, earlier Rakhi Sawant got evicted from the house and the rest 6 finalists, Rashami Desai, Karan Kundra, Pratik Sehajpal, and Tejasswi Prakash won the ticket to the final task. Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty were two more finalists with them.
Rashami got evicted a day ahead by public votes, Nishant took 10 Lakhs and decided to quit the show.

Bigg Boss 15 Recap
A big controversy had occurred in the show when one of the strongest contestants throughout the entire journey of Bigg Boss, Umar Riaz was eliminated from the show in the Weekend ka Vaar Episode on Jan 9.
The Reason behind Umar’s ejection was that the contestant had indulged in a noisy fallout with Pratik Sehajpal during ticket to the finale task, whereby, Bigg Boss announced that the decision of his eviction will be taken by the viewers. Thereby, Umar got eliminated from the house.
In a recent episode, Bigg Boss also evicted two other contestants from the house, On Day 114 (Jan 24) BB13 participant Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Politician Abhijit Bichukale are also evicted from the house in the double-elimination round.
Bigg Boss Season 15 Grand Finale
Initially, some of the reports were claiming that the BB 15 Grand Finale was to be held on January 16, 2022 (Sunday). But the scenario changed when Salman during a Weekend ka Vaar episode announced that the show will be extended by 2 weeks.
Thereby, the Grand Finale of Bigg Boss Season 15 was to come about by the end of January 2022, But, later rumors were that makers are choosing to extend the show by 2-3 weeks more.
The reason behind this was being told, BB15 high TRP and enormous viewership, the other reason for the extension of BB 15 was also put across is the surge in the cases of the new omicron variant.
However, Now makers have defied all the claims and announced that the Bigg Boss season 15 will see its Grand Gala finale event on 30 January (Sunday) at 8:00 PM.

And with this, the show will see more twists and turns, evicted contestant Raji Adatia re-entered the house as a guest recently to make the show more interesting.
The show is aired on Colors TV from Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM. You can enjoy the show as well as its Weekend ka Vaar episodes on Saturday – Sunday at 9:30 PM.
