The reality Television shows Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 hosted by Kamal Hassan has been completed 102 days so far. The show was started on 3 Oct 2021, with 18 contestants, and later two wild cards choreographer Amir and the actor Sanjeev Venkat made their entry as a wildcard contestant in Nov month.
Till now the show has completed 102 days out of 105 days, which means, it is currently on its Week 15. There are 14 contestants evicted and two contestants Namitha and Ciby who walked from the show on Day 10 & on Day 95 respectively, while Namitha walked due to personal reasons, Ciby, on the other hand, took the cash prize of Rs 12 Lakh, in compulsory prize eviction round and walk out of the house.

Actor-politician Kamal Hassan has been hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil since the first season, The show aires on weekends for 90 minutes and on weekdays for 1 hr. On Week 8 due to health issues, Kamal Hassan hadn’t been able to host the show, the known actress Ramya Krishnan hosted the show instead of him on that Week.
