How’s the Hype?
We can say that so far so good as the visually enriched trailer, songs, and new-look posters created a huge buzz among movie lovers which is evident from its advance bookings.
But on the other, it has found itself in controversy. Controversies can’t be ignored especially these times when it is directly affecting the box office numbers of the movies.
Box Office Collection
Recent Bollywood releases Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan, and Liger were called for a boycott by the netizens which directly affected their Box Office. Now, Ranbir’s film has been embroiled in the same controversy, however, it is to be seen whether it affects the box office numbers of Brahmastra.
Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is still the top grosser day 1 film of 2022, the expectation was from biggies like Prithviraj, Laal Singh Chaddha and Ranbir’s own Shamshera to overtake the former’s record but all these were rejected by the audience at the BO. JugJuggJeeyo did decent business but it was a semi-hit affair.
