Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller Drishyam 2 is doing phenomenally well at the box office. The film opened with a record start and saw good growth on Sat and now it has brought in a solid first weekend.
It is a crime thriller and serves as the sequel to the 2015 cult film Dirshyam. It is directed by Abhishek Pathak and the screenplay was written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Abhishek Pathak.

Box Office Collection Day 3
The trend in advance is very good, it clocked in over 11 crores+ from the pre-sales for Sunday. Drishyam 2 sold over 5L tickets for day 3 from the advance bookings.
And as per the trade estimations, Ajay’s film accumulated in the range of 25-27 crores on Sun (day 3) taking the total earnings of the film to over 61 crores, nett domestically.

Drishyam 2 was released on Nov 18 on over 4000 screens worldwide, in India, it occupied more than 3000 screens making it one of the biggest releases for Ajay Devgn. The film is said to be made on a budget of 50 crores. According to the reports, it has covered its budget in the 1st weekend itself.
It was certified U/A by the CBFC board with an approved runtime of 2hr 22min or 142mins. The sequel is receiving rave reviews from critics and the audience alike. It is getting praise for the story, performances, screenplay, and climax part.
