Ajay Devgn starrer thriller film Drishaym (2015) is set to return with its sequel titled Drishyam 2 soon. The makers have wrapped up the shoot and have finally revealed the release date of the film.
Drishyam was directed by Nishikant Kamat and was itself the Hindi remake of megastar Mohanlal’s 2013 film of the same name while the upcoming sequel is helmed by Abhishek Pathak, known for directing 2019 comedy drama film Ujda Chaman.
Drishyam 2 Release Date
The wait is over for the fans to watch their favourite and much-celebrated character Vijay Salgaonkar again on big screens. The makers of the film (Drishyam 2) today, on June 21, wrapped up the shoot in Hyderabad and along with that they have finally released its official release date, the film is set to be released theatrically on November 18, 2022.

Drishyam Star Cast
Drishyam 2 marks the return of the Eclectic starcast from the first film of the series. Ajay Devgn will reprise his character Vijay Salgaonkar along with him Shriya Saran will be back in her role as Vijay’s wife, Nandini Salgaonkar.
Similarly, Tabu will play as IG Meera M. Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh and Ishita Dutt as Vijay and Nandini’s elder daughter. More new characters are also expected to be featured in the film, as per the script’s requirement.
Drishyam Makers
The film is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and his son Abhishek Pathak, who is directing the film, under their Panorama Studios in association with Bhushan Kumar and Krishna kumar’s T-Series Films.
Along with backing the project, Panorama Studios will distribute the film worldwide. Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey and Shiva Chanana are the co-producers of the film.
About the film
The story of the film revolves around a family of four members whose life turns upside down due to an unfortunate incident that happened to the eldest daughter of the couple in the family. The Makers of the film promises to take it notches higher in thrill, excitement and drama in the upcoming sequel.
