Directed and written by Jeethu Joseph, and produced by Rajkumar Sethupathi, Antony Perumbavoor, and D. Suresh Babu, holding the banner of Suresh Productions, Drushyam 2 is an upcoming Telugu action thriller film, which is a remake of the Malayalam hit Drishyam 2, and the sequel of its original Drushyam (2014).
The film’s music has been composed by Anup Rubens and the cinematography has been handled by Satheesh Kurup.
Drushyam 2 Release Date
The movie is all set to be streamed on the OTT platform of Amazon Prime on November 25, 2021. The film’s production was completed just 50 days after its commencement, in April 2021.

Drushyam 2 Plot
The plot is similar to that of the Malayalam Drishyam 2, with the events happening six years after what happened in Drushyam. The story of a man, Rambabu trying to escape his deep dark secrets who is now a successful person in life and has big dreams.
His family, especially his wife is still disturbed thinking about the previous incidents and fears of having their lives shattered someday!
The two daughters, one of them still in shock and not able to overcome the episode, gets frightened every time she hears the police siren and the other one doesn’t care about anything except herself. Their life turns upside down when they get stuck in their own web.
Drushyam 2 Star Cast
The film features Venkatesh in the lead role as Rambabu, Meena in the female lead role of Jyothi, Kruthika plays the role of one daughter Anju, and Esther Anil plays the role of the second daughter Anu.
Apart from them, we also see Sampath Raj playing the role of a cop Inspector General, with Nadhiya in the role of Geetha Prabhakar, former I.G, with Naresh also seen playing the role of Prabhakar. Poorna, Vinay Varma, and Satyam Rajesh are also playing key roles in the movie.

The official trailer of the movie gives us a glimpse of the criminal background of the movie, with scenes of cops roaming around with guns, and also the family of the protagonist living in fear, especially his wife and the two daughters.

We also witness that the police department is trying to probe the case for six years and has almost gotten a clue of Rambabu’s deepest, darkest secrets but Rambabu requests them not to take them back to those grave memories!
