Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise Spiderman film series’s director Jonathan Watts is now gearing up to work on the other hit franchise Final Destination.
Jonathan’s last directorial superhero film Spiderman: No Way Home has grossed 1.5 billion dollars (INR 11,000 crores approx.) so far and became the highest grosser film domestically all time and eighth highest grosser worldwide film.
Now the filmmaker will be writing and bankrolling the sixth installment of the superhit horror franchise Final Destination.
Jonathan titled the film Final Destination 6, he will be producing the film along with his wife Dianne McGunigle and longstanding producers of FD named Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor.

Talking about the superhit horror franchise Final Destination, it is consists of 5 films namely Final Destination (2000), Final Destinantion2 (2003), Final Destination 3(2006), The Final Destination (2009), and Final Destination 5(2011), all the films garnered a huge number of footfalls at the ticket windows and made the cult fan following.
The total five films were made on a budget of around 154 million dollars (in Indian rupees 1139 crores approx) and grossed a total of 665 million dollars (in INR 4919 crores approx.) at the box office worldwide.
The last film of the franchise was released in Aug 2011 and after 10 yrs it will see finally the new addition to the film, The screenplay for the
Final Destination 6 will be written by Guy Busick and Taylor along with Jon.
Though the crew is yet to work on the script and Cast, we can’t be sure shot about the film’s release, It will be streamed on the leading American digital platform, HBO Max.

Talking about the new installment he said, ” Both Dianne and I have been Massive Fans of FD from The Very Beginning, SO To be Able TO Have a Hand In Crafting a New Story with The Original Team and New Line is going To Be Both Fun and Exciting.”
After Final Destination 6 watts will next be again joining the MCU franchise to work on the Fantastic four franchise’s reboot.
