Lara Dutt starrer Hiccups and Hookups has been renewed for season 2 by the Over The Top (OTT) platform Lionsgate Play. It is a comedy-drama web series that was premiered on the digital platform in Nov 2021.
After the successful first season of Hiccups and Hookups, it is now gearing up for the new exciting season as the platform recently renewed it for the second season.
Synopsis
The first season of this comedy-drama show revolves around the Rao family in which Vasudha (Portrayed by Lara Dutta) who is recently separated from her husband, Now has to look after her daughter Kay (Portrayed by Shinnova), who is in her teenage, and her younger brother Akhil (Portrayed by Prateik Babbar).

Reportedly the new season will be back with the same star cast with everything more than the previous season as the main lead Prateik said in an interview that they will arrive with a lot of drama, action, and adventure (Pun-Intended).
Managing Director to Lionsgate South Asia and Networks Emerging Market Asia, Rohit Jain spoke about the announcement of the new season told that the show is the part of their ‘create local content with local talent’ idea and in the future, they will be bringing more such ideas that will entertain the audience.
According to reports, Mrinalini Khanna, VP, Lionsgate India said that the motive is to entertain the audience and for that, they are gonna be bringing the new season with a new director for new vision and energy.
