Anand Deverakonda starrer Highway is all set to entertain us with a dose of entertainment. It is a crime-thriller movie that will be released in 2022.
Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda’s younger brother Anand Deverakonda is basking in the success of Damondara’s Telugu comedy-drama Pushpaka Vimanan, which was released on November 12, 2021, in Cinemas.
The film was produced by Anand’s father Govardhan Rao Deverakonda and was screened on 250 screens worldwide.
Anand also received lots of love and appreciation for his second film, Vinod Anantoju’s Middle-Class Melody, which was released on November 20, 2020, on OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
Now the actor is all set to entertain audiences with the fourth film of his career Highway under the direction of cinematographer-turned-director KV Guhan, who also gave the direction in movies like Inidhu Inidhu (2010), and 118 (2019).
Highway Poster Release
The shooting of this crime thriller commenced in mid-2021 and wrapped up on October 8, 2021, in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The makers of the film have released the new poster of the film on the first day of New Year 2022, with Happy New Year 2020 written on It. Anand Deverakonda is seen in an intense and angry young man who look along with Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Banerjee.
Abhishek Banerjee is best known for his performances in Stree (2018) and Amazon Prime Web Series like Paatal Lok and Mirzapur.
Earlier the concept poster of the film was dropped on December 3, 2021.
Highway Release Date
The makers of this psycho-crime thriller have not announced the date of its release yet. It is also not clear whether it will be released in cinemas or will have a direct OTT streaming.

Malayalam beauty Manasa Radhakrishnan is doing her Tamil Debut with Highway. She is playing the lead role in the movie opposite Anand Deverakonda.
The production of the film is done by Venkat Talari under the banner of Sree Iswarya Lakshmi Movies while music is composed by Simon K.King.
It seems like this psychological thriller will surely come with a good storyline and entertain the audiences beyond their expectations.
