The film marks the 2nd collaboration between Rajkumar & Anand after the film Raajakumara. Charan Raj has composed the soundtrack and film score.

The Director of the film James, Chethan Kumar had an exclusive chat with a media house and said, “‘James’ is a complete entertainment package and a movie with a different genre and the title of this movie will justify the story of the film. Puneeth Rajkumar is seen playing a different role, which he had never played in his career before.
James Release Date
The film started shooting on January 19, 2020, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Second schedule for the shooting of the film started on October 14, 2020, in Hampi. Some intense scenes of Action by Puneeth were done in Kashmir and after then, Puneeth became busy in the promotional activities of his other film which was released in the year 2021.
And after then in July the shoot resumed after the government of Kannada gave a green signal to the Entertainment industry to begin the film Activities. The actor Puneeth on 29 October passed away. After that, the fans are eagerly waiting for the film to see their favorite superstar on the screen for the last time.
