Jayeshbhai Jordaar starrer Ranveer Singh is a social comedy movie, directed as well as written by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Aditya Chopra along with Maneesh Sharma.
It tells the story of a Gujarati guy who believes in social harmony. The shooting of it concluded on Feb 2020, and since then it was waiting to see its release and finally release on 13th of May 2022.

Ranveer Singh is playing the role of a Gujarati Man as Jayesh Parekh or Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Opposite Ranveer south Indian actress Shalini Pandey is marking her debut in the Bollywood industry through this social comedy playing as Kinjal Ajmera.
Though she, in 2018 had done a cameo appearance from Indian Drama Meri Nimmo. It also stars Munnabhai MBBS (2003) fame Boman Irani doing the role of Jayesh’s (Ranveer) father playing Mithilesh Parekh, Ratna Pathak Shah is playing Latter’s mother role as Jalpa Parekh. Deeksha Joshi, Samay Thakkar, Ragi Jain, Puneet Isaar are among other star casts.

After the 3rd wave, Yash Raj Films releases its long-pending films, one of them Jayeshbhai Jordaar gets a release date on 13th May 2022, failed at Box office, failed to collect 20 Cr at domestic, now available on Amazon Prime.

Production
JJ was announced in May 2019 by the makers, and the shooting was commenced in Dec 2019 in Mumbai. Initially, it was to release on the occasion of Gandhi/Shastri Jayanti in 2020 but had got indefinitely postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic but later on Sept 2021 the makers officially announced the film’s release date along with their three other projects, that are Prithviraj, Bunty Aur Babli 2, and Shamshera.
