Rishab Shetty’s film is now heading toward the coveted 400 crores gross mark at the box office worldwide. The small film has already become an all-time blockbuster and has set new benchmarks for low-budget films.
It has been over 6 weeks since it hit the theatres and still earning in crores on the daily basis. The total 42 days collection of the film stands at ₹ 360 crores gross approx which consists of around ₹ 328 crores in India and ₹ 30 crores overseas.

Kantara Eying 400 Crore WW
Even though the numbers of “Kantara” has started declining in daily earnings, it is expected to touch the ₹ 400 crore mark in its full run. The Hindi biz has emerged as the top performer for the flick in daily earnings of late.
On the other, it is running out of its fuel in the home market, Karnataka. However, it is remained to be seen whether it crosses the lifetime of KGF-2 or not. KGF-2 had accumulated ₹ 182 crores while Kantara is not far behind with ₹ 173 crores gross approx.
If Kantara surpasses the lifetime of KGF-2 in Karnataka, it will become the all-time highest-grosser movie in Karnataka.
Box Office Collection Day 43
Going by the trends, it will face a drop from Friday onwards due to the clash with notable releases like Black Panther 2, and Yashoda. As per the trade estimations, Kantara earned ₹ 1.75-2 Cr nett on its 7th Friday to take the total domestic biz over 280 crores, nett.

Kantara has emerged successful in all versions, It recently crossed the 150 Cr nett mark in the original version, Kannada, and it will soon cross the 75 cr mark in Hindi and eying 50 Cr nett in the Telugu version.
