Hombale Films’ latest outing “Kantara” is running successfully at the box office. It was released on Sept 30 in the cinemas in Kannada version and outside Karnataka in English subtitles.
The film took a decent start at the box office and saw its biz booming in the coming days via genuine audience word of mouth. And recently online ticket booking website, BookMyShow taking to social media announced that Kantara is the best-rated movie in its history with 18K+ reviews.
Not only this but the adventure thriller has 9.6 ratings from 12.4K users on IMDb making it one of the highest-rated Indian films on the site. The film is witnessing the Housefull shows even on working days in Karnataka. It is proving to be a landmark film and the same can be seen in its box office figures.
Kantara Tamil Release Date
Now, following the success of Kantara in the original version, it is all set to be released in other languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Recently makers launched the Tamil trailer of the movie announcing its release date.
Kantara will grace the cinemas in Tamil on 15 October 2022. And the Tamil theatrical rights of the movie have been sold to SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures.

Kantara Box Office Report
Talking about its box office collections, Rishab Shetty starrer is estimated to have collected over 70 crores in its two-week run at the box office domestic market. The box office business of the flick is booming and how!, it clashed with the highly anticipated Ponniyin Selvan and Vikram Vedha in the home market despite this Rishab’s film stood rock solid.
