The much anticipated Telugu film Karthikeya 2 has finally been released in cinemas and the early reviews are all positive for the Nikhil Siddharth starrer. Along with Nikhil, it has Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher, and Adithya Menon in the key roles.
The film releases in all four languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, as per the recent reports, positive reviews are pouring in from the U.S premieres, and it is very near to cross $100K gross from there.

Karthikeya 2 is a story revolving around the ornaments of Lord Shri Krishna, the early reviews are all positive, it generally received 3 out of 5 stars from the critics, and it is being praised for the engaging fresh story, Nikhil’s act, writing, and location.
Box Office Collection Day 1
The pre-release business of the film is yet to be unveiled, as per the trade estimates, the break-even of the film will be around Rs 15 Cr. Now, if the telugu trade reports are to be believed, Karthikeya 2 has become the top opening day grosser of the actor’s career, it raked in Rs 3.50 Cr on Day 1 (Saturday). It is expected to see a surge in the collections over the weekend as it seems a kind of film which will grow only due to audience word of mouth.

Screen Counts
Makers said to be were in trouble as they find it difficult to get the proper release of the film, as there are already Laal Singh Chaddha, Bimbisara, Sita Ramam, Macherla Niyojakavargam which have been released in cinemas and doing good business in the south.
As per the Telugu news circles, the film got 340 screens in the home state (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), in the Hindi market it managed to occupy 200+ theatres. The worldwide screen count of Karthikeay 2 stands at 600+. It is expected to increase in the coming days.
