It has been over 22 days and the monster is still enjoying the bull run at the box office, only a week left to complete a month, and the film has already grossed over Rs 1100 crore mark worldwide.
Going by the pace, Yash starrer seems past the collections of Rajamouli’s RRR in a matter of days, already KGF2 has earned more profit than RRR and within a week the film will cross its lifetime collections.
In 42 days of BO run, RRR has a profit of Rs 152.78 Cr as compared to KGF2’s whopping Rs 201.16 Cr in just 21 days. The latter has been wreaking havoc at the ticket counters since the day of its arrival and that too in all versions, with taking the lead in dubbed Hindi version.
The film was opened with a record-breaking opening of Rs 53.95 crore and now as per the latest reports, Yash’s film has crossed the Rs 400 Cr mark in Hindi on Day 23.
Early reports suggests the film has accumulated Rs 3.85 Cr nett in Hindi, taking the total collections to over Rs 400 cr nett. The film is only Rs 1.10 Cr behind to mint Rs 100 Cr share (Rs 171.55 Cr gross) in the home market Karnataka.
