Prashanth Neel’s monster is now only Rs 25 crores behind to cross the mighty Rs 1200 Cr gross mark, and soon the film will fetch the Rs 1000 Cr gross mark in India, the film has added a lot of records in its tally right from the very first day.

- KGF2 graces the silver screens on 14 April 2022 in multiple Indian languages, and on opening day the Hindi version of the film breaks the record of Hrithik’s War of highest grosser opening day film in India by churning out Rs 53.95 Cr nett.
- Grossing over Rs 290 Crs in two days the film became the highest-grossing film in the Sandalwood industry. On the 2nd spot is its prequel chapter 1.
- Yash’s film is currently the highest-grossing film of 2022 in India.
- It is currently the 2nd highest-grossing film in India. And soon will become the 2nd Indian film to cross the Rs 1000 Cr gross mark in India after Baahubali 2.
- It is the third highest-grossing Indian film after Dangal and Baahubali 2.
The period action flick gave a major boost to Indian cinema and delivers the message that the larger-than-life films have more demand in the country.
Box Office Collection
However, Talking about the box office collection, it is expected that the Yash starrer will continue its dream run for two more weeks, as per the estimation, the film will earn Rs 6 Cr gross** worldwide on Thursday (Day 29) for a worldwide total of Rs 1181 crores gross**.
KGF2 is now on the course to cross the Rs 1000 Cr gross mark in India, it is expected to fetch it by Saturday (Day 31), and if it does that, it will become the second Indian film, 2nd south Indian, and first Kannada film to do so after Baahubali 2. The latter had raked in Rs 1429 crores gross only from the domestic market.
