Rocky Bhai starrer Monster after a blockbuster first week now heading towards the 2nd strong weekend, the period action flick raked in Rs 719.30 Cr in 7 days.
With this KGF 2, beats Rajamouli’s recent release RRR’s first week worldwide collections of Rs 710 Cr gross, let us inform you that Baahubali 2 had grossed Rs 835 Cr in the first week.
Point to be noted that RRR was made on a budget of over Rs 500 Cr while Yash starrer is made with around Rs 100 Cr, still, Neel’s directorial beat the Rajamouli’s film. Why KGF 2 is running riot at the box office can be construed from this point.
However, after collecting Rs 16.35 Cr on Wed Yash starrer marked another record of the fastest ever film in Hindi to cross the Rs 250 Cr mark in 7 days, it beat the record of Baahubali 2 of 8 days. It also grossed the Rs 100 Cr from the Telugu-speaking states on the 7th day.
Now, from Thursday onwards the second weekend of the film has begun, Yash starrer stays stable on Thursday also and accumulated Rs 13.58 Cr taking the total collection to Rs 268.63 Cr in Hindi.

Going by the trends, Yash starrer will easily cross the Rs 300 Cr mark by Saturday, it had raked in Rs 4.10 Cr gross on Wed from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and minted Rs 1.50 Cr gross on Day 8. Prashant Neel’s directorial raked in Rs 31.05 Cr gross (Rs 15.05 Cr share) on Thursday taking the total collection to Rs 750.35 Cr gross.
