A comedy drama, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s long-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha was released on August 11, 2022 theatrically after being delayed multiple times, received mixed reviews and boycott trend also affected its Box Office run.
Directed by Advait Chandan of Aamir’s 2017 musical drama film “Secret Superstar” fame, the film is inspired by 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name.

Aamir Khan in and as Laal Singh Chaddha where Kareena Kapoor in lead role with key supporting roles Nagar Chaitanya and Mona Singh. King Khan SRK makes a cameo appearance in the film.
The film was said to be one of the highly-anticipated film and fans were eagerly waiting for the film release as this was a comeback film for megastar, who delivered disaster Thugs of Hindustan (2018).

During the final of Indian Premiere League at its second strategic time out of 2 minute 30 second through live streaming on TV on Star Sports. With this, it is the fist time ever that a film had a grand trailer launch on the World television platform and sports world.
This marks the first time in the history of the marketing and advertising world that the fans of cinema and cricket witness a promotional asset launch during such a big live cricket ceremony.
The trailer shows Aamir as Laal, a specially abled-child with Mona Singh playing his mother, who believes his child is no less than anyone. Further, it shows Laal with leg braces miraculously grown up as a running professional and joining the Indian army. But the trailer also received mixed reviews.
