Director turned actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s film “Love Today” continues to mint moolah at the box office. The rom-com was opened to positive reviews from the critics and the audience alike and translated into box office numbers.
It is being compared with Sivarkarthikeyan’s 2021 hit film Doctor which had created a similar kind of buzz among the cinephiles. However, it is remained to be seen whether Pradeep’s film turns out to be a blockbuster or not.

Box Office Collection Day 3
As per the early trade estimations, Pradeep’s film wtinesses around 24% growth on its first Sunday. Therefore, taking the total 1st-weekend domestic collections over 11.5 crores nett.
It is riding on amazing word of mouth hence it is expected to stand rock solid on the weekdays as well. The next target of the flick would be to cross the 25 Cr mark on the weekdays and then try to touch the 40 Cr mark on the 2nd weekend to pave way for the 50 Cr nett on the 2nd week weekdays.

It minted ₹ 2.5 Cr from the pre-sales for Sunday. The two-day gross collection of the film stands at ₹ 7.65 crores. It is having excellent occupancy across all the shows since day 1. It will remain steady on its first Monday as well.

Love Today marks the second directorial venture of Pradeep Ranganathan after Comali and his debut film as a lead actor. It is an adaptation of his short film App(a) Lock. It is backed by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment.
It is heading to become another successful film at the box office in Tamil Nadu which has delivered a number of money spinners this year, including two all-time highest-grosser Tamil films Vikram and Ponniyin Selvan.
