Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest release Love Today has been winning the hearts of Tamil moviegoers. The film is riding on terrific word of mouth so much so that following the stupendous response for the film amid the audience. Makers have now decided to release it in the Telugu version as well.
The Telugu theatrical rights of the movie have been acquired by Dil Raju’s Shri Venkateswara creations. Love Today was out in theatres on Nov 4 and received rave responses from critics and the audience alike.

Love Today Box Office 1st Week
Love Today opened with ₹ 2.45 crores at the box office, it will be considered an above-average start as it has a debutante actor and hence the buzz was not that huge. However, the biz of the film saw an increase over the coming days as the positive WOM keeps pouring in.
It witnessed growth over Sat and Sun of 67.35% and 23.17% respectively taking the 1st-weekend collection to ₹ 11.6 crores. It saw a drop of around 49% on its first Monday which is inevitable given it is a working day.
The film minted ₹ 2.85 Cr on its first Monday (Day 4) and again jumped by 10.47% on Tue to take the total 5 days collection of the movie to ₹ 17.03 Cr. It is estimated to have collected ₹ 2.5 Cr on Day 6 making the total nett domestic collection ₹ 19.5 crores.

Box Office Collection Day 7
Pradeep’s film remains stable in the pre-sales, the flick accumulated another 60L from the advance ticket bookings for Day 7. Now going by the trend, it will hold well on the weekdays and show a jump on the weekend.
As per the trade estimations, Love Today amassed 2-2.2 Cr on Thu (Day 7) to take the total earnings of the film to 21.7 crores. Pradeep’s film is doing very well at the box office. It will not be exaggerating to say if the flick manages to churn out 50 crores nett in the long run given the amazing response it has been getting from the audience.
