The Long-awaited much-hyped Malayalam superhero film Minnal Murali, featuring Mollywood star actor Tovino Thomas, is all set to release this year on the streaming platform.
Earlier makers of the film wanted to release it in theatres, but couldn’t do so owing to novel coronavirus first and therefore the second wave.
In July 2021, Netflix acquired the film’s digital rights, and further films producer Sophia Paul announced that Minnal Murali will be premiered on Netlflix, not in Theatres. The film will be available from 24 December.
The Digital rights were bought by Netflix for 37 crores, which is one of the highest for any Mollywood movie to date. earlier the film was in news in the year 2020 when the film set was vandalized by some right-wing groups in Kerala saying that they can’t set the church opposite the temple.
Minnal Murali Release Date
on 23 Sept 2021 Netlfix India uploaded a video on their official YouTube channel announcing the release date of the film that is 24 December 2021, on the streaming platform Netflix. It will premiere in the Malayalam language along with its dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi also.

Minnal Murali Budget
films production commenced on Dec 2019 and ended in July 2021, shooting took too long because of the on & Off production due to covid pandemic, after the completion of production, the post-production e.g editing and dubbing concluded by 15 Sept 2021. The film is said to be made up of around 15-20 crores. though there are no official announcements made by the makers on the production cost till now.

On 31 Aug 2020, Production company Weekend Blockbusters released the teaser of the film on their official YouTube channel, which crossed 67 lakhs plus views with 3.1 lakhs like as of now, viewers are excited to watch their favorite star Tovino Thomas in the role of a superhero, on the digital platform. the Teaser of the film hasn’t been released yet, it is expected to release by mid-Nov.
